Our Story and Mission

The SEND Sanctuary was created by me, Aimee Bradley, a mum of three autistic children who knows first-hand what it means to fight for support that should never have to be fought for. What began as me sharing my journey became a community where thousands of families could finally feel understood and less alone.

From that small online space grew a national movement, now connecting over 45,000 families across the UK and leading more than 90 local actions including a successful rally in London that brought parents, carers and professionals together to call for real change.

Our mission is simple. To make sure no family feels invisible. To create understanding, compassion and accountability within the SEND system. And to remind every parent walking this path that they are not alone, because we are standing together.
